The longest-running of the three vocal groups inducted in 1984, The Diamonds performed with various lineups well into their sixth decade. Although they hit the Top 10 only three times — with “Little Darlin” (No. 2), “The Stroll” (No. 4) and “Silhouettes” (No. 10), all Gold records released in 1957 — they had a total of 15 Top 40 hits between 1956 and 1961.
